This song is special to me, my daughter sings it in her kapahaka group and sung it at the same time as me but zoom with the rest of her school to also celebrate Te Reo week, it's also a song that I sung with friends during a difficult period in my life and it reminds me of the mana I have even when times are tough. I'm so proud of my Maori heritage and I know my koro would be looking down smiling.
