I visited Europe about 10 years ago, and all the museums, along with many signs and documents were written in both the original language(s) of the country, and English. My dream is that in 50 years, te reo Māori has finally been recognised by the ruling classes as equal to English in Aotearoa, and that we too use the tāonga that is our reo throughout our whenua in all areas. Being a truly bilingual country would be amazing.
