Our team has planted a kawakawa tree and we talked about the principle of Whakamanawa. It is our hope that the presence of the Kawakawa plant reminds us that we are all part of the healing needed from the impacts of colonisation and the loss of the reo. We learnt and sung a new waiata 'tiro tiro'
