Wainuiomata started the very first kōhanga reo as well as the first bilingual unit at an Intermediate School. Our community has a very long and proud history of promoting Te Reo Māori. As a school we will continue to do our part and carry on that legacy, each and every day!!!
This year we wanted to include the mahi we have been doing in Hauora, Te whare tapa whā, Mindfulness and Wellbeing, with our celebrations for this week. We hope you enjoy our Te Wā Tuku Reo Māori...MAURIORA!!!
