This video/waiata was written by my sister and her husband. It was written back in 1986/87.
The waiata was written at a time when our Maori people were struggling with issues relating to Maori values, beliefs, customs and protocols with our then government. The waiata was a means of reminding out people that we could rely upon our founding Christian Missionary values of Hope, Love and patience and to trust our Faith will lead us through the many trials and challenges. And to believe the gospel/Bible teachings that our Creator is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
