As an early childhood kaiako I share te reo everyday with my whanau and tamariki at work. We played tataiko at home. I read books and use te reo words I know. We are learning a waiata as a teacher group and will preform in front our tamariki. The tamariki are encouraged to practice their pepeha daily. We do this throughout the year and don't just wait yo celebrate this week. We celebrate throughout the year.
