My whole school had different activities on different days of the week and since I'm in Roopu Rangatahi (Māori Kids Group) we got to go around into classes teaching other kids.

We had kōrero mai wānanga across the week and then celebrated with tītītoria, waiata and haka.

Pandas Home care - We shared our moment with our wonderful tamariki by encouraging them to participate in the waiata ‘mahunga, pakihiwi, puke, hope, waewae’ Head, shoulders, knees and toes. Our visiting kaiako also joined in with the tamariki during her visits too!

I will be learning a karakia to start my day with, and will recite in in te taiao for Ngā Atua to hear!

Our little kapa haka rōpū did a small public performance for our Reo Moment. Our theme was aroha, and Whakarongo is one of the waiata we performed to show our love for te reo Māori.

All our kaimahi in the workplace came together to waiata, tunu kai & eat. In the lead up we participated in daily karakia, presentations and mahere reo online. Outside of mahi I attended a Te reo quiz night.
