Kia ora koutou. Ko Holly taku ingoa. Nō Canada au. He ringatoi ahau e noho ana i Maungawhau i Tāmaki-makau-rau. I have had the great privilege to live here in Aotearoa for close to 30 years. So privileged I obviously didn’t feel the need to learn the indigenous language of this land and it’s people. Shame on me. So I have been taking night classes this year, and hope to continue on the journey of learning te Reo Maori, and hopefully be able to have a proper kōrero some day. It’s such a beautiful language, so full of grace and meaning, so much more than words and sounds, it’s deeply rooted in the people, the spirit, the stories, and the land of Aoetearoa. Pai mārire

Thanks for the playlist Anna :)
