I was born in to a maori family and I hated English schools I cried at my first English kindergarten but when I entered a maori kindergarten I didn't cry and my father took that as a sign that I belong there so he took me to a maori school after I left kindergarten but my mother wanted me to have apportinuties that the maori school could not give me so I moved to an english school but I still wanted to keep maori apart of me so I always take maori classes
